In a field where engineering often means coding, data, or IoT, I found myself expected to follow the same path. Despite trying frontend, backend, and even data science learning, I never felt truly excited. This talk shares my journey of stepping away from conventional engineering expectations and discovering my passion for UI/UX design. I’ll discuss the challenges of choosing a less traditional path, the joy of creative exploration, and why it’s important to follow what genuinely inspires you. This session aims to encourage students and professionals who feel stuck to embrace their unique interests and find their place in tech.
